Belonging somewhere, but where?

How do you find out where you belong? I want have a place where I feel like that.....I don't though.

How people feel about you

Have you ever have that feeling that you just want someone to tell you how they feel about you? Is this a bad feeling? Or is it a good feeling? Is it selfish? I think humans want people to tell them that they are loved and appreciated, but then is it bad? What do you think?

Our amazing Lord and Savior!

God, what is my purpose? I want to fulfill it to the fullest! It will be amazing to see what it is! Isn't it amazing how much He loves each and every one of us?!?! I have so many petty problems, yet, God is always there ready to listen, if only I take the time to share them with Him!

Slavery

My passion: To help abused and enslaved children. 
So, what am I doing to fight it? Well....... I need something to do about it! You are probably saying,
"That is not passion, she isn't doing anything about it." Okay, I want to do something, but I am not doing that much! I am eating fair-trade chocolate now though, that means I am passing up all those non-fair-trade goodies! It is a little hard when you are a chocolate person all the way! I also, as I said before, have a petition going. Right now I am focusing in the cocoa industry with it, but I hope to expand. I need to raise awareness. I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!!! I can't just sit here and doing nothing!! It may be "hard", but I want to do it, and do it well and for the Lord's glory while I am at it!! Yes, I am young, but I can still make a difference. More young people need to step and show the world that they are capable. They need to make a difference and glorify God!! I also want to find a way to help abused children. I know that many enslaved children are also abused (at least that makes sense to me). But then you hear of children being killed because of abuse even if they aren't "enslaved". Why?!?!?! Why is this world so horrible. Plus, I don't even know the half of it!!! I am glad I am protected from these things at home! But the world needs to change! The world needs JESUS CHRIST!!!!Now, go out there and make a difference, even if it means helping your neighbor clean their yard or giving the mailman a glass of water. JUST GO GLORIFY GOD!!!!

Why He decided to take him, I don't know.

Only God knows.

He is now in God's arms, at home and free of pain.

Don't walk away from what God has planned for you!

Have you ever had this feeling that God wants you to walk up to a certain person and tell them about Him? I have, but sadly, I didn't do it! I didn't have enough gut to do it! I lost an amazing opportunity! Don't ever walk away from what God wants for you. You will not be disappointed if you obey and serve Him whole-heartedly!!!!

I am learning about space and such in science right now. It is overwhelming how big space it. If it is that big, can you even imagine how big, powerful, and creative the GOD who created it is?!?! And we are so small!!!! Like really, really, really, really, really small (and more)!!!!!!!!!!! Yet, God sent His ONLY Son. For who? Us! What AMAZING love!!

Amazing last night!!

Wow! So last night, I went to a concert/road show (something like that). There were about seven bands/singers including Mercyme, Lecrae, Sidewalk Prophets, Tenth Avenue North, Disciple, Hawk Nelson, and a couple others. It was a great night of worship!! I started to overcome my shyness/embarrassment and really just praise and worship the Lord.



My favorite band? Hmm...I really don't know. Okay, it was probably Tenth Avenue North.

I teared up a few times too. I felt so close to God. I know that you normally feel that way at concerts, but it was so amazing.


I will end on telling you not to worry about what others think of you. I continuously struggle with this! But please, be yourself, don't try to impress others or worry about what they think of you!  JUST BE YOURSELF!!!!!! Live to serve and please the Lord only!!!!!

Friendships

The Lord is showing me so much lately.
Everything He does has a purpose! Even if you can't tell what that reason is.
Friendships! God has given me many people to encourage and build me up, but He has also given me people who do just opposite. You know, I think the people who don't encourage me are there to help me grow in the Lord.
Let me encourage you though, that you need to have positive Christian friends around you. The friends who are negative and not Christians or not strong Christians, please beware! Yes, encourage and build them up, but be on your guard. Don't let people lead you astray!!

My first blog!!

Wow! This is the first blog I have started!
So.... first things first. I really want to end modern-day slavery! But now, I say I am fighting it because I feel as if God told me it will never end on this earth. You see, I was reading Revelations a while back, and it says mentions slaves twice. So, I feel as if slaves will exist in the end. This was a great disappointment to me, but that is the way God wills it. I am fighting modern-day slavery in the chocolate industry.
